@ the Mint in Los Angeles with Uncle Imani of the Pharcyde
Last week I had the opportunity to see Blu and Exile, who released one of the best new Hip Hop albums, “Below the Heavens,” last year. The Los Angeles based duo performed at the Mint on Pico Boulevard, and gave a performance that lived up to their album.
Uncle Imani, of the Pharcyde, opened the show and warmed up the crowd with tracks from his new album, BlaquStarrDust. Uncle Imani and the rest of the members of the Pharcyde will be in Paris at the Zenith Nov 10th with Nas Supernatural, EPMD, De La Soul and Mos Def with the Rock the Bells Tour.
